Video: The Dark Side of Guy Fieri

Editor’s Note: Far will be joining the team. He’s a pretty big scumbag so this should work out.

Obviously, Guy Fieri is an easy mark for these types of videos. This fucking guy is an unbelievable persona. Purely from a physical standpoint, he has some of the worst tattoos I have ever seen and to top it off he continues to crush frosted tips (have not seen frosted tips out on the circuit in over a decade). He is an internet troll’s dream target. However, that does not take away from the extent to which I enjoyed this eerily spot-on spoof. I also can’t knock the hustle because despite being an actual cartoon character, Fieri is successful and everyone watches his shows. Hell, during one bender I accidentally watched 10 consecutive episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives. At some point during this triple-D nightmare I started to wonder how Guy kept up his ultra-positive goober persona episode after episode.

This video brings to light a hypothetical angle where Guy is a slave to HQ and hates his bleak existence sampling whatever disgusting appetizer small town chefs have cooked up. We’ve seen it before with the guy from Blue’s Clues and Pee Wee Herman…. a cracking of the armor.

A man can only keep up an act like that for so long before his soul cannibalizes itself. This Sin City version of Guy seems a little too real.

Admittedly, I did go into this video already aware of Guy’s reputation for copping feels of female chefs which I chalk up as a cry for help. There was also that sketchy video of him fighting his male hair dresser/ lover mid-traffic jam.

Maybe “Flavor Town” really is a dark place.
